Kidarchy - Public ForuM 〰️

Kidarchy - Public Forum was a performance made in collaboration with kids aged 7 - 11 and performed in Iðnó Theater in downtown Reykjavík. The performance took the form of a political meeting where the members of Kidarchy held speeches, protest songs, performed satirical sketches about adults and introduced Kidarchy’s manifesto to the public. As part of the program they invited parliament members and known people in Icelandic society to come and have a discussion panel where the children asked critical questions about the adult’s plans for the world they will later inherit.

„We want to change things for the better. We’re worried. We can fix this if we want to. But we need help. It’s our future. The children’s revolution has begun.“
