The children's bar is an experiential work where children control everything and jump into all jobs, mix non-alcoholic cocktails and put the rules of life on the table for adults.
Adults can e.g. get a haircut from a child with scissors, have an imaginative drink mixed and get advice from the child on how adults should conduct their lives, to name a few.
The work is a participatory work where adults meet and surrender to the power of the younger generation in a challenging but safe environment for BarnaBarinn. The ideas for these participatory performances are developed in full collaboration with the children in the spirit of the Kids' Empire, and aim to make their dreams come true. What have they always wanted to try? What do they want to do with their parents, how do they want to "change" them?
